ABOUT US

Bill Bishop - Bill was brought up on a farm surrounded by animals and learnt about animal husbandry from his father who also passed on his love of dogs.

Bill then went on to breed, show and judge dogs.  Later when asked to look after dogs he had bred, he started the Boarding Kennels in redundant farm buildings.  His lifetime’s knowledge of dogs has helped with tricky and difficult dogs.  When he retired from farming, the kennels were increased and improvements are going on all the time.

Heather Bishop - Heather was brought up with dogs and cats.  She was a state registered nurse with two young sons, staying at home to look after them and help on the farm when Bill and his father built the kennels in 1978.

Heather ran the business until Bill retired from farming.  It is a family run business with the help of part time staff.
